The Saint Rita Foundation supports the DOPPIA DIAGNOSI (Double Diagnosis) project by the Don Guerrino Rota Solidarity Centre, set up to face a difficult challenge: to develop an integrated response to addictions that combines rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions to also counteract mental health problems.
The project
The initiative is aimed at those who, in addition to facing substance and alcohol addiction, also have psychiatric disorders – a phenomenon that is constantly expanding, fuelled by the increase in the consumption of psychoactive substances among young people. It is a scourge that is affecting the new generations, raising serious concerns at the regional level and devastating families. The project offers a supportive pathway through self-help groups, which is essential to provide the assistance and resources needed to address these complex challenges.
The project was developed over a period of 12 months, with a total support of 30,000.00 euros.
Extension approved until 2027.
