Propose your own project

Do you have a solidarity project and seek an ally to help carry it out?
The Saint Rita of Cascia Foundation is ready to listen to you.

We support initiatives that promote the common good and reduce inequalities, with particular attention to those who live in conditions of fragility: people who are ill, marginalised, alone or facing economic and social difficulty. This commitment is inspired by the Church’s social doctrine and the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

We act on behalf of the most vulnerable, wherever they may be. We believe in the importance of guaranteeing children and young people the same opportunities, offering concrete support in relation to issues such as:

  • child protection
  • food security
  • disabilities and care for those who are not self-sufficient
  • health and social services
  • education and training
  • hosting of migrants and refugees

If your project meets these objectives, tell us about it. Each proposal will be evaluated with care and respect.

FAQ
  • What files need to be submitted for the application to be considered admissible and for it to meet the expectations of the Saint Rita of Cascia Foundation?

For the application to be considered admissible and for it to meet the expectations of the Saint Rita of Cascia Foundation, the applicant must upload:

    • the file 1a_Modello_narrativo_semplif.docx, in which you will find an outline to be developed for each chapter and the maximum number of characters to be used for each chapter. Use all the required characters and stick to the outlines provided.
    • the file 1b_Modello_Piano_Finanziario_Quadro_Logico_Crono_semplif.xlsx, in which you will find a specific guide for each topic that will help you to develop the 3 respective matrices highlighted in red (PF, QL, Crono)
    • the file Lettera.pdf (letter on letterhead, signed and stamped by the legal representative of the applicant entity, with project title, requested contribution and motivation).
    • any additional documentation to support the evaluation of the project only if deemed necessary (bills of quantities, estimates, photos, other material).
  • How many monitoring and evaluation trips do we need to plan for the project? Who pays for the travel costs for the two members of the Saint Rita of Cascia Foundation to monitor and evaluate the project on site? Should travel also be planned for projects in Italy?

At least one monitoring and evaluation trip must be provided for in the financial plan (FP).

The monitoring and evaluation trip is the responsibility of the Saint Rita of Cascia Foundation, and it should be included in section 5 of the FP (“Monitoring and Evaluation“). It will be the responsibility of the executing body to organise the trip and manage the related budget, including flights, food, accommodation, local transport and transfers to/from the airport, in close coordination with the Projects Office of the Saint Rita of Cascia Foundation.

The monitoring and evaluation trip should be budgeted only for foreign projects (i.e. outside Italy).
