Saint Rita Oasis is the name of a project by the Monastery of Saint Rita of Cascia<\/strong>, with whom we share a dream to carry out a revolution: to transform a property by the sea<\/strong> in Porto Recanati, Marche, into a non-profit accommodation facility for people with disabilities<\/strong> and their carers<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re not just talking about reconstructing a building, but about taking on a cultural, social and human challenge<\/strong>: to create a space full of life, centred on people’s dignity<\/strong>. Holidays, understood as a time of freedom and beauty, become a right<\/strong>, not something superfluous or a privilege.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One thousand two hundred square metres<\/strong>, 8 apartments<\/strong>, 1 multi-purpose room<\/strong>, an equipped beach<\/strong>, all with qualified staff<\/strong>: these are the unique qualities of a place tailored to meet specific needs. The inclusion will be tangible<\/strong>, the accessibility real<\/strong>, the well-being total<\/strong> and the involvement active<\/strong>, with the opportunity for guests to interact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This ambitious project aims to demonstrate that another world is possible<\/strong>. Because tearing down barriers is not an architectural question, it leads to a paradigm shift<\/strong>. It means moving away from dependency to enhancement, from the ‘bare minimum’ to rights and services for a guaranteed quality of life for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why we say that we aren’t fundraising to renovate a building. We want to build a new culture of humanity and hospitality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that disability no longer means assistance and limits, but autonomy and freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is structured in a multi-year programme<\/strong>: design in 2026, start of works in 2027, completion in 2028 and opening in 2029. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall financing required for restructuring the property is estimated at 2,400,000 euro.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
